God, You Can Not
Lyrics
SPOKEN INTRO: God, I am so glad that you are my God.
I'm thinking about all the things you do
I'm remembering all you brought me through
I want to thank you for the things you can't or won't do

VERSE: My God, you can never fail
You will never forsake me
you hear my cry when I travail
You comfort me and make my enemy flee

CHORUS; I thank you, God, for the things you can't do
I thank you for the things you won't do
I know it sounds strange but let me explain

VERSE: You can't be defeated
Against you, Satan can never prevail
You put the enemy under your feet
Your mighty power is unveiled.

CHORUS; I thank you, God, for the things you can't do
I thank you for the things you won't do
I know it sounds strange but let me explain

BRIDGE: you give me new mercies
You wash away all my tears
You take away all my fears
Great is your faithfulness towards me.

Vamp: God can't do it, God can't do it
never be defeated
Never break a promise
Never leave me alone
Never go against your word
Never be unfaithful
You can't and you won't
God can't do it
Short Song Description:
This song take a different look at the scripture, is there anything too hard for God.
Long Song Description:
We speak often of the many things that our God can and will do. Have you considered that there are things that God can not and will not do. This song reflects a different approach to what God can not and will not do.
Story Behind the Song:
My husband made his transition recently. During this time I had a different revelation not just about what God can do but the things that God can't do. It may sound strange but let me explain. God promised to be with me and not forsake me during this time of going through the grief process. I experience that God can't lie, he can't break a promise and he can not forsake me.
